The purpose of this gallery is to practice the skills necessary to write about art in an effective and expressive way. Art is a topic that is easy to interpret, therefore it is possible to creatively compose a poem, story, essay, or speech pertaining to a specific work of art or theme. Through this gallery, one will be able to practice writing in various styles using the vast collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston for inspiration. The following slides contain both images and prompts to help the view learn the different methods for writing about art in a rhetorical way.
