Before 1990, acquired on the art market by Olaperi Onipede [see note 1]; Gift to the MFA (Accession Date: January 23, 2008) [1] Object numbers 2007.xx-2007.xx were purchased from various dealers from 1990-2007: Duncan Clarke, Adire African Textiles Gallery, London, UK; Victoria Scott, Black Art Studio, Santa Fe, NM; Gasali Adeyemo, Textile Artist, Santa Fe, NM. Ongoing research is being done to determine which objects came from each dealer and the date of sale.
