Designed for the great room of the James A. Patten House, Evanston, IL, built 1901; removed at the time of the house's demolition in 1938; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Krause (installed in their home about 1942); Dr. and Mrs. Brandt (subsequent owners of the Krause house); Joel Fremion, Fort Wayne, Indiana (purchased out of Krause house); Thomas Cain, Fort Wayne, Indiana (purchased around 1993); American Decorative Art 1900 (2006); to MFA, purchase September 20, 2006.
