Woman's necklace

This necklace is made up of rectangular panels of bamboo that is colored by gold and colored paint (?) assembled in a mosaic-like pattern, backed and connected by textile and containing four blue fabric panels. Round red glass faceted stones decorate the piece.

Mid 1970s, purchased by Karen Rotenberg, Boston, in Paris; gift of Rotenberg and her husband Michael to the MFA (Accession date: April 14, 2010)
