Point lace

The design consists of symmetrically balanced flower forms. Part of the ground is the typical Argentan reseau, part "re seau rosce" which has hexagonal fillings. To one end is sewed a piece of lace of similar type except that the plain mesh is of the Alençon variety, not the Argentan.
