Piece of velvet

Deep yellow silk ground; the design which is of green cut and uncut velvet consists of heart-shaped forms ending in a leaf, small octagons, and irregularly shaped oblong spots much cut up. The cut velvet is in places so long that it suggests tufts. Pieced.
