Necklace with an amuletic case pendant

The necklace is inspired by ancient Egyptian and Islamic traditions. The amulet case opens (it is hinged) and there is an arabic inscription on the prong-set, patinated, rectangular element. There are four gold florets with a small central ruby at each end. The clasp is a simple "s" shape.
