Light golden brown uncut velvet brocade. The design consists of lines and blocks of loops and blocks of satin-like surface. Velvet buttons. The back has been taken out. Worn by Mr. Matthew Ridley, a maternal ancestor of the donors. See notes on 17.1440-17.1445.
