Laid-work. White muslin worked with a delicate design of drooping bunches of flowers. Very ragged, and stained.
Said by lender to have been made in Boston in 1840. Lent by Miss A. E. Newell, Dec. 8, 1886. To become the property of the M.F.A. at the lender's death.
