Fragment of embroidery

Ecru tabby-woven ground (silk warp, linen weft?), embroidered with brown and ivory silk and couched gold yarns. One half unworked; other half shows a star in a roundel and six lozenges; trefoils in interspaces. Gold discolored, silks partly gone. Holes, ragged.
