Ground of natural-colored linen fabric, with an octagon medallion of dark green wool of looped weaving. Called "Kaunakès" by Miss Edwards.

Provenance

Discovered in 1888 by W. M. F. Petrie in the Greco-Egyptian cemetery of Hawara in the Fayûm. . "The interments in this cemetery were from 400 B.C- 150 A.D." Amelia B. Edwards.
