Embroidery

White cotton, on one end is worked with dark blue silk bands of geometrical and floral ornaments. Narrow borders go part way up the sides, from the inner corners of these spring conventional plant forms. The edge is finished with button-hole stitch, see also 11.1392-11.1394.
