Semi-circular, hooded cape of silk lampas. Light olive exotic, oriental floral design in meandering pattern on dark olive ground. Center front closes with black and brown silk braided loop and covered button. Black and brown silk floss tassels at tip of hood and under chin. Condition: excellent.


Purchased by Ward Dick Kerlin, father of Catherine Kerlin Wilder (Mrs. Amos N. Wilder), in the 1920's. Amos Wilder is the brother of American playwright Thorton Wilder.
