Bed or table cover

Central medallion of stylized flowers and leaves with flowers covering field and exotic birds in each corner of field. Stylized floral border. Polychrome silk yarns, predominately red, green and brown, worked in chain and buttonhole stitches with back stitches in a chevron pattern across entire linen ground and cotton lining. Good condition, colors bright; most black silk yarns rotted out. Silk lining, linen fringe on all four sides.
