Loosely woven dark brownish red silk ground. Narrow satin stripes flank main field showing warp-figured rose sprigs in green and white. Tiny paired loops along selvedges. Traces of glue in corners and sides.

Provenance

By 1952, F. & G. Staack, Camden, ME; purchased from Staack by the MFA [see note 1] (Accession date: June 12, 1952) NOTES: [1] Accession numbers 52.614 - 52.949 were purchased together as a group for $57.50.
