Loosely woven red silk tabby ground with narrow red and green satin stripes and an undulating vine woven with extra white, green and yellow warps clipped on the reverse. Traces of glue in corners. In one corner, a paper label marked 457.


By 1952, F. & G. Staack, Camden, ME; purchased from Staack by the MFA [see note 1] (Accession date: June 12, 1952) NOTES: [1] Accession numbers 52.614 - 52.949 were purchased together as a group for $57.50.
