The ground is woven with dull reddish violet. The design of rows of conventional symmetrically arranged floral forms, giving the effect of an all-over pattern, is woven with white silk and narrow strips of silver. Pieced.

Persian poetry on this minutely detailed textile reads, "Come, for the Padshah's victorious banner has arrived; the good news and glad tidings of triumph have reached the sun and moon…"
