1942, George Richmond Fearing, Jr. (b. 1871), Boston; 1942, gift of George R. Fearing to the MFA [see note 1]. (Accession Date: December 10, 1942) NOTES: [1] This tapestry was accessioned in 1942 but remained on annual loan in Mr. Fearing's possession until 1948, and did not enter the Museum until after his death, in 1956.
