Length of unbleached plain-weave cotton with chinoiserie design of full branches, pairs of birds, flowers and butterflies embroidered, mostly in chain-stitch, with polychrome silk yarns; hand-painted accents in blue; probably unfinished as inked ground design of spiral shapes in unembroidered.
