Purple silk gauze summer robe (hitoe), worn by woman of samurai rank, with overall landscape pattern (goshodoki) of flowers, leaves, water, pine and a veranda with screen (sudare) and koto in green, orange, brown silk embroidery and metallic gold-wrapped thread couching.
