Provenance

Acquired by an army officer, who was stationed in the Lake Lanao region of Mindanao, from Mr. Noros, who lived locally. W. E. Healey purchased the piece from the officer. Denman W. Ross purchased it from W. E. Healey for $10. Gift to MFA on March 10, 1903.
