Warps: green silk (secondary warp neutral yellow silk, and ring gold weft). Wefts: green silk, metallic-wrapped linen. Ground: green satin. Design:Floral adaptation of a grapevine woven with gold thread, the stems forming heart-shaped ground-work.

Provenance

Acquired about 1930 by Adolfo Loewi, Venice; sold by Loewi to the MFA for $190. (Accession Date: March 9, 1939)
