Single bluish-white silk leaf. Painted scene showing a young woman in Empire costume reading, a mandolin lies by her chair. Decorated with many silver-plated copper sequins and applied ivory. Fourteen incised mother-of-pearl sticks, with piqué work and applied silver, diamond paste studs at rivet.
