By 1900, Leopold Iklé (b. 1838 - d. 1922), St. Gallen, Switzerland; 1922, to his son, Fritz Iklé (b. 1877 - d. 1946), St. Gallen; sold from the Iklé collection to Adolph Loewi (d. 1977), Venice and Los Angeles; 1943, sold by Loewi to the MFA for $3000. (Accession Date: May 13, 1943)
