Part of bed hanging (small portion on left attached to longer section on right with strip of white netting); longer section on right made of three pieces of white linen and cotton twill (fustian) with napped face and with wool embroidery (crewelwork); New England laid stitch or Roumanian Couching used for thick brown, yellow and red stems, most of the leaves, the beige and pink flower at center, and the parrot; open areas on leaves and large flowers outlined in chain stitch and filled in with small dots of seed stitch; thin green stems throughout made in stem stitch; satin stitch used for small solid areas, such as the blue breast of the parrot, solid areas of yellow flower on right, and small blue flower on right; herringbone stitch used for thin, blue green leaves at center; made to go with 19.67 and 19.596-19.610
