Provenance

Acquired by an army officer, who was stationed in the Lake Lanao area on Mindanao, from Mr. Noros, a local resident. Mr. W.E. Healey purchased it from the officer and the donor, Denman W. Ross, purchased it from Healey for $10; gift of Denman Waldo Ross to the MFA on March 10, 1903
