Telling Stories in Pictures

Throughout history artists would tell visual stories. The Ancient Greeks told their stories of mythological creatures, gods and of battles painted on the sides of pottery. Later, artists would tell stories of events or daily life through oil paintings. This week we will explore how artists tell stories through pictures. We will start by looking at Ancient Greek pottery and make our way to the Americas.
