Straight-sided dish with flat base

Redware bowl- unevenly rounded with a flat base; interior is horizontally burnished as well as the exterior rim area; fire-clouds over the exterior and the sides of the base; wear at the rim edges; incised design on the exterior surface of a boat and figures.

From Mediq (ASN79/136/1). 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: June 12, 2006)
