Straight-sided dish with flat base

Large redware bowl found in pieces and repaired complete, dark red slip over the interior and in a band around the exterior rim edge; flat base and groove-like marks from smoothing or use-wear over the exterior surface.

From Gedekol (ASN 76/60/2). 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: June 12, 2006)
