Story Telling kindergarten /John Breen School

Most art tells a story. When going through the galleries we want to connect students not only with our works of art,but also opening up thier world as to how they can

express themselves through their own art.

The students can be asked to think about the following while touring the Offering Chapel, and discussing the story lines they see in "Fog Warning",Cassatt's" Tea Party",

and Thomas Sully's,"Washington Crossing the Delaware".

What is the artist trying to tell us ? What does this artwork tell us about the artist? Most importantly, what do you imagine is happening in this picture!
