Slightly carinated bowl with flat base

Start collecting

This bowl has a small flat base with generally convex sides with a slight point of carination. The rim is straight. There are traces of red polishing/burnihsing. It is intact. Just below the rim are two incised/rilled lines.

Provenance

From Dakka (ASN101/60/5). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: June 12, 2006)
