This jar (possibly more properly considered a jug) has a ribbed exterior created by rilling. It has a short foot ending at a deep ring base. The upper portion of the jar is broken off at the top of the body where a very constricted neck once likely extended up to a rim. Both are now missing....

From Wadi Alaqi (ASN112/133). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government. (Accession Date: August 3, 2006)
