Relief from tomb of Mehu

Fragment of block with raised relief of hieroglyphs in six complete and two partial vertical registers. The text gives the titles of the tomb owner. The top of this block above the hieroglyphs is a blank border. This piece joins 37.2762.2.

Provenance

From Giza, reused in building chamber of intrusive Pit G 2423X (12) Tomb of Mehu. 1937: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
