Redware, flat base, rolled rim. Tall, shouldered jar with two scratched circular potmarks. Used to be called Eg.Inv. 7547. Previous record says it is marked M/47/21 but it is not.

Provenance

From Mesaid (Mesa'eed, Mesaeed), tomb 47 [M/47/8]. 1910: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
