Bought in Paris about 1841 by Nikolaï Nikolaïevitch Raevsky, General (1771-1823); Mikhaïl Mikhaïlovitch Raevsky (1875-1922); his widow, Olga Sergeïevna Raevsky, Princess Gagarine (died 1955); auction Paris, 1922; Walter Gay (1856-1937); purchased in November 1922 using the Helen and Alice Colburn Fund by the MFA.
