Inscribed in plate below image, l. l.: C. W.? Kolbe 5. Collectors stamp in black ink on recto, l. r. conrer of mount just barely overlapping the corner of the print; and on the verso of the print: WPL (according to Lugt, probably German, late 18th or early 19th century). Inscribed in brown ink, within platemark, ul l.: "830". Inscribed in brown ink, u. l. corner of mount: "830" (the upper half of the numbers have been cut off).
