Probably Pieter Cornelis, the Baron van Leyden (1717-1788); probably acquired 1808 by the Dutch Royal Library, the Hague (Lugt 240); transferred 1816 to the Rijksprentenkabinet, Amsterdam (Lugt 2228); sold between 1903 and 1912 under the direction of E. W. Moes; Richard H. Zinser (about 1883-1983, Forest Hills, NY) stamp in black ink (not in Lugt); C. G. Boerner, Inc., New York, from whom purchased 1993.
