Verso, l.r.: red stamp of Philip J. (reproduced, Bubb Kuyper, Dutch Graphic Art, 1850-1950, auction catalogue, 1 December 2000). Watermark: Sideways through sheet. Bottom: Lion rampant with sword in a crowned circle with Propatria; top "GELDER". Hard to see whole watermark due to inking, but clearly a van Gelder paper.
