This is a palette with an elongated rhomboidal shape with squared off ends. The surfaces are flat and there are traces of green pigment on one surface. The stone is white travertine (Egyptian alabaster) with gray veins.

Provenance

From Dakka (ASN 101/ 589/13). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
