This is a finely-grained palette with a slightly elongated, rhomboidal shape. The surface is flat. The stone is black and white veined, possibly marble (?) with small pink veins. The ends are squared off.

Provenance

From south of Egeba (ASN148/33/8). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
