By 1850, Mr. Moosesian, Sr., Turkey and Armenia where he played the instrument between 1850 and 1890; by 1908, by descent to his, Albert Moosesian (1888-1952), who brought the instrument to the United States. By 1975, Mrs. Zabel Moosesian, Arlington, Massachusetts; 1975, gift of Moosesian to the MFA. (Accession Date: May 14, 1975)
