Left leg of a striding figure

This fragment is the lower portion of the left leg of a striding figure. A portion of the space behind the leg executed in stone is present. It joins 14.1060 (14-1-372a). The stone is black granodiorite with sporadic black biotite inclusions and mica, the break areas look granulated. GD5.

From Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K X corridor 5-5. 1914: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
