The base of this large slender ovoid jar has broken off and is missing. The upper body narrows to a slightly concave neck with rilled ribbing and a slightly flaring folded rim.

From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 5518. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: July 26, 2006)
