This globular redware jar has a rounded base, a slight, concave neck, and a flaring, straight rim. The upper portion of the shoulders carries a zigzag band formed of four incised lines.

From Kerma, Cemetery S, tomb K 5512 (K 5512/1). 1915: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession date: May 19, 2006)
