Fragments of a finger ring with uraei

These ring fragments, along with other jewelry items, was found in the thieve's debris of a plundered burial. Originally the ring had a central bezel featuring a sun disk flanked by uraei.

From Meroe, Beg. W 453. February 1923: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
