Fragment of offering bearers from Tomb of Mehu

Raised relief fragment depicting one arm of an offering bearer and part of the head of another. There are fragments of two baskets piled with offerings of fruit (?). Above the baskets is the base of an offering table.


From Giza, Tomb of Mehu, between pits G 2423X and Y. 1937: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
