Joining fragment of hand of seated statuette of Merymose, King's Son of Kush. Right hand, ends of outstretched fingers missing. Same shape as other hand of Merymose, which is extended horizontally. The hand joins the thigh at the wrist and kilt line to Eg.Inv.11866. Black granodiorite.

From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, B504 Ex.4 debris. 1920: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
