Corner fragment of seated statuette of Merymose, King's Son of Kush. Thigh and left leg portions. Joins with 20-1-109. Damaged as if by fire, upper part badly cracked and decayed. Two incised columns of text framed by border pattern on proper left side. Black granodiorite.

From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, B501 Ex.2 debris. 1920: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
