Grew (b. 1836); sold by Grew to Vose Galleries, Boston; February 21, 1905, sold by Vose Galleries to Clara Bertram Kimball, Boston [see note 1]; by inheritance to her husband, David P. Kimball (d. 1923), Boston; 1923, bequest of David P. Kimball to the MFA.
