Guggenheim Museum, New York; 1969, sold by the Guggenheim Museum to the Eva Lee Gallery, New York; sold by the Lee Gallery to Anna Feldberg, Boston; 1978, bequest of Anna Feldberg to the MFA. (Accession Date: April 12, 1978) NOTES: [1] The provenance was provided in a letter from Angelica Rudenstine, Guggenheim Museum, to Lucretia H. Giese, MFA (May 3, 1978). That Mr. Guggenheim purchased it directly from the artist is specified not in the letter, but in notes in the MFA curatorial file.
